Tammany reunited one more time in August to rehearse, hang out, and play a small gig. We gathered at Peter Hales' home in the Catskills, played our gig, and then went home, safe in the knowledge that this was just the start of a series of reunions that would occur during our retirement years. Our main concern was about Tim Tammany, who was suffering from a chronic illness.

Ten days later, Peter was killed while bicycling. The news was sudden, and shocking. The irony is that Peter was in better shape at 63 than I was in my 30s. You can read more about Peter here

We were fortunate that the daughters of one of the band members took some video of the performance, the last performance of Peter's that was recorded. These are the audio tracks from those videos. Many of them are just portions of the songs. None of us knew these moments would be immortalized.
